Dr. Shengtao Yang is a dental technician and deputy director of the Department of Dental Technology at West China Hospital of Stomatology, Sichuan University. He obtained his master's degree in dental technology in 2022. From 2023 to 2024, he served as a Straumann Visiting Digital Prosthodontics Scholar at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. His research interests include digital implant dentistry and digital prosthodontics. He has published more than 20 peer-reviewed articles in journals such as Clinical Oral Implants Research, Clinical Implant Dentistry and Related Research, The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, Journal of Dentistry, and Journal of Prosthodontics. Several of his articles have been recognized as among the most downloaded and most viewed articles in the Journal of Prosthodontics. He also serves as a reviewer for The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, Journal of Prosthodontics, Scientific Reports, BMC Oral Health, and other dental journals.
