Dr. B. N. Dhanunjayarao is an Associate Professor at Vignan’s Institute of Information Technology (A), Visakhapatnam, India. He received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur, India. With over 13 years of teaching, research, and academic experience, his research focuses on additive manufacturing, functional materials, polymer composites, 3D and 4D printing, shape memory polymer composites, and advanced composite manufacturing. He has authored more than 30 research publications in reputed SCI- and Scopus-indexed journals, conferences, and book chapters, and actively serves as a reviewer and editorial board member for several international journals. His current research emphasizes photopolymer-based additive manufacturing, multifunctional polymer materials, and the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning for process optimization, quality prediction, and predictive materials engineering, with applications in aerospace, biomedical, automotive, and industrial sectors.
