Dr. N. V. Swamy Naidu is a professor at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur, India. He obtained his PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur in 2005. With over 27 years of combined industrial, academic, and research experience, including seven years in the aerospace industry and two years as a structural analyst in the USA working on Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Gulfstream aircraft programs, he has extensive expertise in structural analysis and composite engineering. His research interests include finite element analysis, biomechanics, nano-composite structures, functionally graded materials, solid mechanics, and laminated composite structures. He has published more than 70 research papers, authored book chapters and a book, holds two granted patents, and has successfully supervised several PhD scholars while actively contributing to engineering research, teaching, and professional development, and is currently serving as the head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at NIT Raipur.
