Nadia Guajardo studied bioprocess engineering at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (PUCV), Chile. She received her PhD in biochemical engineering from the same university in 2014. From 2014 to 2015, she worked as a postdoctoral fellow at PUCV. She is currently a professor and researcher at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC). Her research interests include eco-friendly solvents, industrial biocatalysis, flow biocatalysis, and sustainable process development. She co-founded IONCHEM, a technology spin-off focused on designing and producing functionalized solvents.
