Dr. Antonio Maffia is a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Hockemeyer lab at the Molecular and Cell Biology Department at UC Berkeley. His scientific interest has always been at the intersection between DNA replication and cell cycle regulation in humans. The current purpose of his work is applying novel high throughput screening techniques to dissect the different mechanisms that allow telomeric DNA replication and maintenance.
