Implementation Progress Evaluation

Implementation Progress Evaluation is a systematic method for assessing how consistently a behavioral intervention, program, or practice is being carried out over time. It compares planned activities with observed implementation using indicators such as completion of milestones, adherence to procedures, participation, and changes in delivery conditions. By collecting and reviewing implementation data, researchers and practitioners can distinguish problems in intervention delivery from limited behavioral outcomes and identify areas needing adjustment. This evaluation supports fidelity monitoring, improves decision-making during program delivery, and helps determine whether an intervention is ready for broader use or requires refinement.
