Interventional Vascular Treatment

Interventional vascular treatment is a group of minimally invasive, image-guided procedures used to diagnose and manage disorders of blood vessels, often avoiding open surgery. Clinicians advance catheters through a small vascular access site and use fluoroscopy or other imaging to deliver treatments such as balloon angioplasty, stent placement, thrombus removal, or embolization at the target vessel. These techniques can restore blood flow, control bleeding, treat aneurysms, and reduce abnormal vascular supply to diseased tissue. By combining precise anatomical guidance with localized therapy, interventional vascular treatment can shorten recovery, limit tissue disruption, and expand options for patients with complex vascular disease.
