Radio Frequency Energy

Radio frequency energy is electromagnetic energy carried by oscillating electric and magnetic fields at radio frequencies, with important uses in medical diagnosis and treatment. When delivered to biological tissue, these fields can induce molecular motion and electrical currents, producing controlled heating that depends on frequency, power, exposure time, and tissue properties. Clinicians use radio frequency energy in procedures such as cardiac ablation, pain management, and tumor treatment to alter targeted tissue while limiting damage to surrounding structures. Its effects also support research into tissue interaction, device design, treatment monitoring, and safer, more precise minimally invasive therapies.

What is Energy?

2020

The universe is composed of matter in different forms, and all forms of matter contain energy. The different forms of energy on Earth originate from the Sun — the ultimate energy source. Plants capture light energy from the Sun, and, via the process of photosynthesis, convert it into chemical energy. This stored energy from plants can be harnessed in many ways. For example, eating plant products as food provides energy for our body to function, and burning wood or coal (fossilized plants)...
