Replication in Eukaryotes

Ökaryotik kromozomlardaki DNA replikasyonu, orijin tanıma kompleksi veya ORC tarafından tanımlanan ve bağlanan çoklu replikasyon kökenlerinde başlar.

Kromozomun her iki ucundaki kısa tek iplikli 3' çıkıntı, kromozomu çekirdek içinde stabilize eden özel proteinlerle etkileşime girer.
