Therapist-guided Training

Therapist-guided training is a structured approach in which a qualified therapist directs, adapts, and monitors exercises or therapeutic activities to address an individual’s clinical needs. It works through targeted practice, real-time feedback, and progressive adjustment of task difficulty, allowing the therapist to respond to performance, symptoms, and functional goals while maintaining safe technique. In medicine, this approach supports rehabilitation, movement retraining, and recovery after injury, illness, or surgery. By combining individualized instruction with ongoing assessment, therapist-guided training can improve adherence, promote functional independence, and provide clinically relevant information for refining treatment plans.
