Now, what about measuring mass? Mass is the amount of matter in an object and is measured using a triple beam balance by adjusting sliding weights to achieve balance.
For example, the mass of this book is obtained by adding the readings, which comes up to 350 grams.
Finally, a graduated cylinder is used to measure the volume of a liquid. For example, observe the liquid level at the bottom of the meniscus—the curved surface of the liquid, which reads 60 milliliters.
