Forward genetica is een krachtige methode om moleculair niveau te ontrafelen van hoe<em> Toxoplasma</em> Egresses uit de gastheercel. Protocollen worden verstrekt aan chemisch mutageniseren parasieten, te verrijken voor mutanten met defecten in geïnduceerde uitgang en valideren het fenotype van gekloonde mutanten.
