وقد وضعنا طريقة بسيطة وموثوق بها، وغير مكلفة نسبيا لالتنبيب الرغامي في الفئران عن طريق تنظير الحنجرة المباشر باستخدام منظار الأذن مع 2.0 مم المنظار. هذا الأسلوب هو ارضحي، ويمكن استخدامها لقياس المتكررة في التجارب المزمنة. نجد أنها متفوقة على القصبة الهوائية أو سبق وذكرت التقنيات غير الجراحية.
