Hier beschrijven we een methode voor de zuivering van histidine-gelabelde pyrophosphokinase enzymen en met behulp van Dunnelaagchromatografie van radioactief gelabelde substraten en producten voor de enzymatische activiteit in vitroassay. De enzym activiteit bepaling geldt in grote lijnen aan kinase, nucleotide cyclase, of fosfor-overdracht reactie waarvan mechanisme nucleotide trifosfaat hydrolyse omvat.
