Our study aims to understand the mechanisms and the clinical effectiveness of Tuina therapy. Based on previous research, we are developing a Tuina protocols specifically for the frozen shoulder rat model. This study demonstrated the effectiveness of the developed Tuina protocol in improving shoulder joint function and reducing capsule fibrosis in affected rats.

Tuina may regulate various mechanism to achieve an effect on the fibrosis of the shoulder capsule. The findings of this study lay the groundwork for further research into the mechanisms involved in Tuina treatment. In the future, we will continue using this protocol to treat frozen shoulders in rats and employ proteomics technique to investigate mechanisms related to capsule fibrosis treatment in these rats.
