She received her masters degree, magna cum laude, in Biomedical Sciences at that same university.During her training she developed a keen interest in stem cell biology, regeneration and 3D modeling of tissues. As a PhD student in the lab of Hugo Vankelecom she studies the biology of pituitary stem cells in the neonatal maturation phase of the gland, using an in-house developed pituitary organoid model.
