Guanyi Lu Department of Surgery University of Florida Biography Publications Institution JoVE Articles Guanyi LuAssociate Professor Guanyi Lu, MD, PhD, is an associate professor in the Department of Surgery, University of Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Lu completed his medical degree at Hebei Medical University at Handan and his PhD degree at Tongji Medical University in China, respectively. He worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Transplant Immunology Lab, Department of Surgery, University of Michigan. Prior to joining UF, Dr. Lu was a research scientist at the Department of Surgery, University of Virginia .Dr. Lu’s research focus on the mechanisms of abdominal aortic aneurysm formation, developing new models of experimental aneurysm and selecting novel approaches for aneurysm treatment. He has contributed as an author to dozens of cardiovascular-related publications.
