Her PhD work is focused on establishing continuous in vitro DNA replication in a cell-free system.She received her Master's degree from the Technical University of Munich. Her Master's thesis on the characterization of self-organizing ParA-type ATPases was performed at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry under the supervision of Prof. Petra Schwille.
