Matlab Image Processing Programs

MATLAB image processing programs are scripts and functions that analyze, enhance, and interpret digital images, making visual data measurable for bioengineering research. They operate on images as numerical arrays, applying processes such as filtering to reduce noise, segmentation to isolate structures, and feature extraction to quantify properties including shape, intensity, or texture. In bioengineering, these programs support microscopy analysis, medical-image interpretation, cell and tissue characterization, and evaluation of engineered biological systems. By converting complex images into reproducible measurements, MATLAB-based workflows help researchers compare samples, test hypotheses, and develop quantitative tools for biomedical design.
