Development of specific neuronal morphology requires precise control over cell motility processes, including axon formation, outgrowth and branching. Dynamic remodeling of the filamentous actin (F-actin) cytoskeleton is critical for these processes; however, little is known about the mechanisms controlling motile axon behaviors and F-actin dynamics in vivo. Neuronal structure is specified in part by intrinsic transcription factor activity, yet the molecular and cellular steps between transcription and axon behavior are not well understood. Zebrafish Rohon-Beard (RB) sensory neurons have a unique morphology, with central axons that extend in the spinal cord and a peripheral axon that innervates the skin. LIM homeodomain (LIM-HD) transcription factor activity is required for formation of peripheral RB axons. To understand how neuronal morphogenesis is controlled in vivo and how LIM-HD transcription factor activity differentially regulates peripheral versus central axons, we used live imaging of axon behavior and F-actin distribution in vivo.

D&#xE9;veloppement de la morphologie neuronale sp&#xE9;cifique n&#xE9;cessite un contr&#xF4;le pr&#xE9;cis sur les processus de la motilit&#xE9; cellulaire, y compris la formation axone, prolongement et la ramification. Remodelage dynamique de l&#x26;#39;actine filamenteuse (F-actine) du cytosquelette est crucial pour ces processus, mais peu est connu sur les m&#xE9;canismes qui contr&#xF4;lent les comportements axone mobiles et F-actine dynamique in vivo. Entwicklung der spezifischen neuronale Morphologie erfordert pr&auml;zise Kontrolle &uuml;ber Zelle Motilit&auml;t Prozesse, einschlie&szlig;lich Axon Bildung, Auswuchs und verzweigen. Dynamische Umbau des filament&ouml;sen Aktin (F-Actin) Zytoskelett ist entscheidend f&uuml;r diese Prozesse; &uuml;ber die Mechanismen, die kontrollieren, st&auml;bchenf&ouml;rmiges Axon Verhaltensweisen und F-Actin-Dynamik in-vivo ist jedoch wenig bekannt. Neuronale Struktur wird teilweise durch systeminterne Transkription Faktor Aktivit&auml;t angegeben, doch die molekularen und zellul&auml;ren Schritte zwischen Transkription und Axon Verhalten nicht gut verstanden. Zebrab&auml;rbling Rohon-Bart (RB) sensorische Neuronen haben eine einzigartige Morphologie, mit zentralen Axone, die im R&uuml;ckenmark zu erweitern und eine periphere Axon, das die Haut innerviert. LIM Hom&ouml;odom&auml;ne (LIM-HD) Transkription Faktor-Aktivit&auml;t ist erforderlich f&uuml;r die Bildung von peripheren RB Axone. Zu verstehen wie neuronale Morphogenese, in Vivo und wie LIM-HD Transkription Faktor Aktivit&auml;t differentiell gegen&uuml;ber zentralen Axonen peripherer regelt kontrolliert wird, verwendet wir leben Axon Verhalten und F-Actin-Verteilung in-vivo Bildgebung.

Lo sviluppo della specifica morfologia neuronale richiede un controllo preciso sui processi di motilit&agrave; cellulare, compreso formazione di assone, escrescenza e ramificazione.
