Takahiro Yamakawa completed his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan. After completion, he has been working on life science research in the field of diabetes, obesity, bone disorder, cardiovascular disease, and cancer for more than 20 years in both academia and private industry. He now focuses on novel targets for treatment-resistant cancers, such as castration-resistant prostate cancer.
