Biography

Marco Agus was trained as an Electronic Engineer and obtained his MSc in 1999. He then got a Ph.D. in Mechanical Design in 2004, from the University of Cagliari, Italy. His research interests span various visual computing subjects ranging from large model rendering and interactive exploration on different display setups to applications of virtual reality technology to haptic and visual simulation, applied to various application domains, ranging from surgical training to digital cultural heritage to neuroscience data visualization and analysis.
