Biography

Paul Perco is a Computational Biologist at the Department of Internal Medicine IV, Medical University of Innsbruck, Austria. He received his PhD in Microbiology and Genetics from the University of Vienna and completed his habilitation in Bioinformatics at the Medical University of Innsbruck in 2019.

His main research focus is the development and application of data integration workflows to analyze high-throughput Omics data and to subsequently model disease processes and drug mechanism of action. Aim is the identification of biomarkers and drug targets for age-related chronic kidney and cardiovascular diseases as well as for selected tumor entities.
