Meijun Wang

Meijun Wang is a PhD student in the Department of Biomedical Sciences, City University of Hong Kong. She received her Bachelor's degree from Gansu Agricultural University in Lanzhou and Master's degree from China Agricultural University in Beijing.

Meijun Wang is focusing on understanding the mechanism of IRF5 activating pathway and studying regulators affecting the activation of IRF5, which is a master transcription regulator that plays a prominent role in regulating the immune response, particularly in the release of pro-inflammatory cytokines and type I interferons (IFNs).
