Biography

Jamilya Nauruzbayeva is a Ph.D. Student in the Environmental Science and Engineering Department, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia. She received her undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Nazarbayev University, Kazakhstan, and an M.S. in Environmental Science and Engineering from KAUST.

Jamilya studies electrification and wetting phenomena occurring at interfaces of water and various hydrophobic media, such as oils, solid insulators, and microtextured surfaces.
