Biography

Samuel Leguizamon is a PhD candidate in the Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He received his undergraduate degree with departmental honors from Clemson University in South Carolina and was awarded with a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship in 2016.

Samuel’s research focuses on the self-assembly and characterization of complex nanostructures with toughness imparted by covalent bonds, averting the instabilities present in hydrogen-bonded nanostructures. He also has experience employing polymers for applications in 3D-printing, electrochemical devices, and bio-interfacial materials.
