Biography

Xinyue Yang is now a master candidate studying in Department of Environmental Science in Tongji University, with her undergraduate degree also received here.

During Xinyue Yang’s training she developed a keen focus on research that encompasses environmental toxicology and health. In Daqiang Yin's lab, she studied the toxicity effects and potential toxicology mechanism of a new kind of drinking water disinfection byproduct called tribromoacetaldehyde using human embryo kidney cell line. After that she turned to focus on neurological toxicology of an emerging persistent organic pollutant, chlorinated paraffins(CPs) using zebrafish as a model organism.
