Biography

Dr. Veerapandian is a highly motivated translational microbiologist with extensive research experience in developing vaccines and drugs to combat infectious diseases. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Principal Investigator, leading innovative research in microbiology, immunology, and translational science. Dr. Veerapandian has demonstrated excellence through impactful publications in leading journals and successful project leadership. He also serves as an editor and reviewer for several prominent scientific publishers, including The Lancet, Nature Publishing Group, Springer, Frontiers, Elsevier, and MDPI, contributing to the advancement of high-quality research. In addition, he is deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of scientists, having guided undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral researchers in microbiology and immunology.
