Dr. Kamila Maliszewska-Olejniczak is involved in the establishment of a novel radiobiological laboratory in National Centre for Nuclear Research in Poland. She performs studies focused on the molecular mechanisms of DNA-DSBs repair after irradiation with the neutron-mixed beam. Her work is focused on molecular steps of NHEJ and HRR pathways and she is exploring the role of ncRNAs in the cellular repair system in genome stability. She is developing new biological-based models for optimizing advanced anti-cancer therapies such as boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT).
