Tilman Franke

Tilman Franke is a product manager for software workflows in Termo Fisher's Advanced Instruments Group. His main focus is enabling electron microscopy applications in the life sciences by building guided software workflows.

Dr. Franke received his Ph.D. from the Free University of Berlin, Germany. During his training he developed a keen interest in light microscopic imaging in the neurosciences, later also electron microscopy. Following his scientific career he joined Toptica Photonics GmbH (Munich, Germany), then Till Photonics GmbH (Munich, Germany), later FEI (Eindhoven, the Netherlands), and finally Thermo Fisher Scientific.
