Biography

Luca Rosalia is a PhD candidate in the Health Sciences and Technology program of Harvard and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He received his M.Eng. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Glasgow (Scotland, UK). He also joined the National University of Singapore as a visiting undergraduate student and the University of Cambridge (England, UK) as a visiting master’s student.

In the Therapeutic Technology Design & Development group led by Prof. Ellen Roche at MIT, Luca’s research lies at the intersection of soft robotics and cardiovascular medicine. The ultimate goal of his research is to create computational models and in vivo testbeds for scientific and clinical cardiovascular research.
