Ayerim Esquivel-López

Ayerim is currently a PhD student in the Biochemical Sciences Excellence Programme at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). She is part of the Genome Topology laboratory directed by Dr. Mayra Furlan-Magaril at the Cellular Physiology Institute (IFC), where she is studying the potential architectural function of proteins. Ayerim studied her masters degree also in the Biochemical Sciences Excellence Programme at Dr. Furlan-Magaril laboratory and graduated with honors in May 2021. She obtained her undergraduate diploma on Experimental Biology from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) in 2017.
