Biography

I received PhD from Graduate School of Agriculture and Life Sciences, the University of Tokyo in 2001. Then I continued my research as a postdoctoral fellow at Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biosciences, the University of Tokyo. I was engaged in the research of nucleic acid drugs at Genencare Research Institute, Co. Ltd. since 2002. Since 2006, I conducted drug discovery research at Biological Systems Control Team, Biomedicinal Information Research Center, Japan Biological Informatics Consortium. Since 2012, I have been researching chemical biology as an associate professor at Fukushima Medical University, and became a professor in 2014.
