Biography

Jacob Haffner is a PhD student and graduate research assistant in the Anthropology department at the University of Oklahoma (OU). He received his undergraduate with honors at the University of Arkansas and his master's at the University of Oklahoma, where he continued on with the PhD program. Jacob currently works at the Laboratories of Molecular Anthropology and Microbiome Reseach (LMAMR) at OU and as a visiting scholar at the McCall Lab at OU. His research focuses on the human microbiome and mass spectrometry-based metabolomics related to human behavior, evolution, and health.
