Biography

Dr. Jianping Xu is a Professor in the Department of Biology at McMaster University in Canada. He has been working on fungal ecology, evolution, and genetics since 1991, first as a graduate student at the University of Toronto, then as a Research Associate at Duke University in North Carolina, USA, and followed by Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor at McMaster University in Canada. He has worked on several groups of fungi, including mushrooms, and plant, animal, and human fungal pathogens.
