Prem Kumar Govindappa

Prem Kumar Govindappa is a Researcher in the Center for Orthopaedic Research and Translational Science (CORTS), College of Medicine, The Pennsylvania State University, Hershey, USA.

As a self-motivated and accomplished veterinary research scientist, Dr.Prem has a comprehensive experience in in-vivo animal models and in-vitro cell culture techniques to understand the pathophysiological complexities of cardiac, neural, skeletal, and cancer diseases. Dr.Prem also has a preclinical industrial research experience in Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), AAALAC, and US-FDA certified drug discovery laboratory.

Dr.Prem's current research focused on investigating the repurposing therapeutic effect of FDA-approved drugs on the peripheral nervous system and their associated target organs, muscle, bone, and intestine.
