Biography

Michael Moles is a PhD candidate at the University of Glasgow's Institute of Cancer Sciences. He received his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Exeter, UK. After a 2 year stint working as a research technician at the University Medical Center Hamburg Eppendorf (UKE) in Germany, Michael joined Dr. Alison Michie's group as a PhD student, researching the molecular events governing chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) disease progression. His main research focus is mTOR signalling and the regulation of FOXO1 activity within the CLL microenvironment.
