My research focuses on modeling liver biology using pluripotent stem cells (hESCs and hiPSCs) derived hepatocytes and applying this novel model to study liver diseases. I previously studied HBV pathology in hepatic and non-hepatic cells and investigated the virus-host interaction in hepatic and non-hepatic cells and setting up new model by stem cell technology.
