MARIA CONSUELO SAIZ MANZANARES

María Consuelo Sáiz Manzanares is a full-time professor in the Department of Health Sciences in the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Burgos. She graduated in Psychology at the University of Salamanca (Spain), in Educational Sciences at the National University of Distance Education (Spain), she obtained her PhD in Psychology at the University of Valladolid (Spain), and in Industrial Technologies and Civil Engineering at the University of Burgos (Spain), both with the highest qualification (outstanding cum laude).

Dr. Sáiz Manzanares has been a psychologist for 15 years in interdisciplinary early care teams. Since 2010 she has been working full time at the University and her lines of research focus on the study of learning strategies in students in various stages of the educational system, the application of new technologies and Machine Learning techniques to improve learning in virtual spaces, and in the processes of assessment and intervention at early ages (0-6 years).

In addition, over the last five years he has led various national and international research and knowledge transfer projects. In addition, she has several registrations of intellectual property resulting from research (software). He has also received several awards from the Junta de Castilla y León (Spain) for these results.
