Endocrine Glands and Hormone Sources

The endocrine system is made of glands, tissues, and organs spread across the body. These parts work together to release hormones, which are chemical signals that help control body functions. Endocrine glands are ductless glands, so they release hormones directly into the interstitial fluid, the fluid around cells.

内分泌系统由分布于全身的腺体、组织和器官组成。

内分泌腺是无管腺，可将激素分泌到间质液中。

下丘脑是大脑中的一个神经内分泌器官，除了分泌激素外，还调节神经功能。垂体和松果体位于下丘脑附近。

甲状腺和甲状旁腺位于颈部，胸腺位于胸部上部区域

肾上腺位于肾脏上方，性腺（男性的睾丸和女性的卵巢）则产生生殖激素。

胰腺位于胃附近，既可作为内分泌腺帮助维持血糖水平，也可作为外分泌腺参与消化过程。

此外，包括心脏、脂肪组织、皮肤和胎盘在内的多种器官和组织中的细胞也能释放内分泌信号。
