Single Partner Game

Single Partner Game is a biological and behavioral framework for examining how one individual’s decisions interact with the actions of a single partner. In this approach, each participant selects a strategy, such as cooperation, competition, or defection, and the resulting payoffs depend on both players’ choices and the conditions of their interaction. By comparing outcomes across repeated or changing encounters, researchers can analyze partner choice, reciprocal behavior, conflict, and the evolution of cooperation. Single Partner Games provide a simplified model for studying social behavior and can help connect individual decisions with broader patterns of adaptation, communication, and fitness.
