Matlab Gui

MATLAB GUI development is the creation of graphical user interfaces that let people interact with MATLAB programs through windows, controls, menus, plots, and other visual elements rather than relying only on command-line input. In a GUI, components such as buttons, sliders, tables, and axes are arranged in a layout, while callback functions execute MATLAB code in response to user actions and update displayed results. Engineering applications use MATLAB GUIs to organize simulations, control parameter inputs, visualize experimental data, and package computational workflows into accessible tools. This approach can improve interaction, repeatability, and usability in teaching, prototyping, and research.

Uterine contractions are important for the well-being of females. However, pathologically increased contractility may result in dysmenorrhea, especially in younger females. Here, we describe a simple ex vivo preparation allowing quick assessment of the efficacy of smooth muscle relaxants that may be used for treating dysmenorrhea.
