Floor Plan Dimensions

Floor plan dimensions are numerical measurements that describe the size, position, and spacing of rooms, walls, doors, windows, and other features in a building layout. Using scale, units, and geometric relationships, a floor plan represents real-world lengths on a smaller drawing while preserving proportions; measurements may be calculated with addition, subtraction, area formulas, and unit conversion. In mathematics, interpreting floor plan dimensions develops spatial reasoning and measurement skills, while in architecture, construction, and interior design, accurate dimensions support material estimates, furniture placement, code compliance, and efficient use of space.

Price Floor

2025

A price floor is a policy tool that sets a legal minimum price for a good or service. It is often implemented to protect producers from falling prices and ensure a fair income, particularly in the agricultural sector. However, when the price floor is established above the equilibrium price, it can disrupt the natural market balance. This can lead to unintended consequences such as lost consumer surplus and reduced market efficiency. When a price floor is imposed above the market-clearing price,...

Coronoid-Temporalis Pedicled Flap for Orbital Floor Defect Reconstruction

2025

This protocol presents a novel coronoid-temporalis pedicled flap (CTPF) technique for reconstructing small-to-medium orbital floor defects. CTPF avoids microvascular risks while maintaining biomechanical stability. Clinical cases demonstrate effective structural restoration, reduced complications, and preserved facial symmetry, offering a viable alternative to traditional grafts or alloplastic materials.

2018

Radiation therapy is a highly complex cancer treatment that requires multiple specialists to create a treatment plan and provide quality assurance (QA) prior to delivery to a patient. This protocol describes the use of a fully automated system, the Radiation Planning Assistant (RPA), to create high-quality radiation treatment plans.

Culture of Isolated Floor Plate Tissue and Production of Conditioned Medium to Assess Functional Properties of Floor Plate-released Signals

2014

The floor plate is a crucial structure of the developing spinal cord, providing diffusible signals to progenitors and differentiating neurons. We describe a method to produce floor-plate conditioned medium, to apply it to fresh spinal cord tissue, and to assess the consequences on proteins of interest by biochemistry.

Providing Meaningful Environmental Enrichment and Measuring Saliva Cortisol in Pigs Housed on Slatted Flooring
