Poster Enlargement

Poster enlargement is the mathematical process of increasing an image or design while preserving its proportions, allowing a small original to become a larger display. It works by applying a scale factor to every length: multiplying the original dimensions, coordinates, or grid intervals by the same number ensures that corresponding parts remain proportional and the image retains its shape. This method uses ratios, multiplication, measurement, and similar figures to guide accurate construction. Poster enlargement supports classroom projects, technical drawing, graphic design, and visual communication, while providing a practical context for understanding scale, transformations, and proportional reasoning.

Enlargement of the Plasma Membrane

2023

Cell division and enlargement are processes that require precise control. The control ensures that cell division cannot proceed unless the cell has grown to a specific size. A spherical, dividing cell requires an approximately 1.6X increase in its surface area to double its volume. The secretory pathway also has a significant role in cell membrane enlargement. Secretory vesicles that bud off from the Golgi apparatus and later fuse with the plasma membrane during exocytosis are a major source of...

Here we present a protocol to standardize the measurement of the levator ani hiatus size by magnetic resonance imaging. The purpose is to extract biomechanical inferences from image analysis by comparing resting and straining values in patients of both sexes with pelvic prolapse, using consistent anatomical bony landmarks.

The block-building task provides a rapid, objective, quantitative measurement of how often individuals choose to use their left versus right hand for reach-to-grasp action. After unilateral peripheral nerve injury, patients often shift to near-total usage of one hand, the direction of which is not predictable from other clinical factors.
