Electrocardiographic Changes

Electrocardiographic changes are alterations in the heart’s electrical recording that reflect differences in cardiac rhythm, conduction, depolarization, or repolarization. An electrocardiogram (ECG) detects voltage changes produced as electrical impulses travel through the atria and ventricles, allowing clinicians to assess waveforms, intervals, and segments over time. Changes such as ST-segment shifts, abnormal QRS duration, altered T waves, or irregular rhythms may indicate myocardial ischemia, electrolyte disturbances, conduction defects, medication effects, or other cardiac conditions. In medicine, interpreting these patterns supports diagnosis, risk assessment, treatment decisions, and monitoring during acute illness, chronic disease management, and clinical research.

Estimate the Cognitive Load Using Electrocardiographic Measure: A Human-AI Collaborative Task

2025

This protocol describes the use of physiological indicators to measure variations in cognitive load across different task difficulty levels in human-AI collaborative tasks. The findings suggest that people adapt their decision-making processes according to task difficulty, thereby reflecting different levels of cognitive load.

2025

This study introduces a novel approach for real-time cardiac mapping using a noninvasive, imageless electrocardiographic imaging system. This system enables the acquisition of electrophysiological cardiac maps without requiring pre-procedural computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging scans, enabling efficient guidance for cardiac procedures such as ablation and cardiac resynchronization therapy implants.

Discovery of Driver Genes in Colorectal HT29-derived Cancer Stem-Like Tumorspheres

Presented here is a protocol to discover the overexpressed driver genes maintaining the established cancer stem-like cells derived from colorectal HT29 cells. RNAseq with available bioinformatics was performed to investigate and screen gene expression networks for elucidating a potential mechanism involved in the survival of targeted tumor cells.
