单分子荧光能量转移是一种跟踪核糖体蛋白合成过程中tRNA动力学的方法。通过跟踪单个核糖体,确定不生菌种群,从而揭示机制。该方法可用于跟踪生物构象变化,以揭示许多其他复杂生物系统中的动态函数关系。单分子方法可以观察到非速率限制步骤和人口较少的关键中间体,由于平均效果,传统组合方法无法访问这些中间体。
