Azoospermia Treatment Procedure

Azoospermia treatment procedures address azoospermia, the absence of sperm in the ejaculate, which can result from blocked reproductive ducts or impaired sperm production. Treatment begins with semen analysis and diagnostic evaluation to distinguish obstructive from nonobstructive causes, guiding options such as surgical correction, hormone-based therapy when indicated, or sperm retrieval from the epididymis or testis. Retrieved sperm may support assisted reproductive techniques, including intracytoplasmic sperm injection, while corrective procedures can sometimes restore sperm passage. These approaches link diagnostic biology with reproductive medicine and help tailor care to the underlying mechanism.

Electrochemotherapy is the local treatment of solid tumors. The main mechanism is electroporation-mediated permeabilization of the tumor cells' membrane which enables increased internalization of cytostatics like bleomycin and cisplatin. Thus, antitumor effectiveness is potentiated at the site of the application of electric pulses to the tumors.

Experimenter bias refers to the possibility that a researcher’s expectations might skew the results of the study. Remember, conducting an experiment requires a lot of planning, and the people involved in the research project have a vested interest in supporting their hypotheses. If the observers knew which child was...
