Covid-19 Guidance

COVID-19 guidance is a set of evidence-based recommendations for preventing, identifying, and managing illness caused by SARS-CoV-2, helping clinicians and communities respond safely as evidence and transmission patterns change. Because the virus primarily spreads through infectious respiratory particles, guidance integrates vaccination, exposure assessment, testing, ventilation, masking, isolation, and treatment decisions according to symptoms, risk factors, and local conditions. In clinical practice, these recommendations support triage, infection control, patient counseling, and timely use of therapies for people at increased risk of severe disease. They also provide a framework for adapting care as new variants, diagnostics, and public health data emerge.
