Titanium Clip Application

Titanium clip application is a surgical technique that uses small, biocompatible metal clips to close or mark anatomical structures, particularly blood vessels and ducts. During the procedure, a clip applier positions the clip around the target, and controlled compression locks its jaws in place to produce mechanical occlusion without suturing. Surgeons use titanium clips in open and laparoscopic operations for vessel ligation, hemostasis, tissue approximation, and identification of surgical sites. Proper placement and compression help limit bleeding, support efficient dissection, and improve procedural control, making the technique valuable in general, vascular, and minimally invasive surgery.
