Orthopedic Consultation

An orthopedic consultation is a clinical evaluation of conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system, including bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, and tendons. During the consultation, an orthopedic specialist reviews the patient’s history, assesses symptoms and movement, performs a physical examination, and may interpret imaging or laboratory findings to identify the likely source of dysfunction. The resulting assessment guides decisions about observation, rehabilitation, medication, injections, assistive devices, or surgery. Orthopedic consultations support accurate diagnosis, individualized treatment planning, and timely referral for conditions such as fractures, arthritis, sports injuries, spinal disorders, and degenerative joint disease.

Culturing human Mesenchymal Stromal Cells (hMSCs) with autologous serum, reduces the risks of rejection by xenogeneic material and other negative effects. It also allows for the recovery of a subset of mesodermal progenitors, which can deliver fresh hMSCs. Embedding hMSCs in an autologous fibrin clot enables easy handling and effective surgical implantation.
